A popular Nigerian TikTok creator known for her viral “ogba” content has revealed that she was asked to resign from her banking job after repeatedly posting videos filmed around her workplace.
Sharing her experience in a video, the content creator said she had been creating content since 2018 and first ran into trouble with her employer in 2022 after posting a video about her salary increment.
According to her, the issue resurfaced in 2026 when she uploaded a vlog showing parts of her daily routine at the office. She said she was warned that recording the bank's premises violated company policy and was instructed to delete the video.
She explained that she was later issued another query for allegedly exposing sensitive areas of the bank and was invited to appear before the institution's disciplinary committee.
The TikToker said she apologised for her actions and stopped filming at the office, choosing instead to create content only from her home.
However, she claimed that after work last Thursday, her supervisor informed her that management had directed her to resign with immediate effect.
According to her, she immediately submitted her resignation letter, handed over her staff identity card and left the office.
She added that the moment was emotional, as several of her colleagues reportedly cried and prayed with her before she departed.
Despite the setback, the content creator said she has no intention of quitting content creation. She appealed to her followers to recommend job opportunities as she begins the search for a new career opportunity.
